Are you high? what kind of question is this anyway? metal requires the most talent of any type of music. While rap is the polar opposite, requires little to no talent.

I was the only person to choose rap, and I think that genre is worthless outside of about 5-10 acts. You guys are all secret Metalheads or just haven't been exposed to enough to hate it as much as I do.

Maybe it's just that some people take issue with the boring muso wanking, juvenile lyrical themes and utter lack of soul in a lot of that music?

You clearly haven't heard any good metal, though you are entitled to your opinion either way.

nah, I'd say Jazz or classical is.
Metal comes from classical music, that is why it is the hardest music to play.

Nah, I don't believe in that statement at all. Dream Theater and Blind Guardian have made me cry, don't tell me theres no soul or emotion in their music.

I've heard most of what's considered to be good metal, and I can confirm that it's not.
Another thing rap has in advantage is that its fans don't tend to pull poses like this.[/img]
