Looks ok. Not as solid as past lineups though.

I feel like the headliners aren't that great but the rest of the lineup is really solid.

totally. not a huge fan of either of the 3 main headliners but the undercard is pretty sweet.

HAHAHAHAHAHA. Solace, what's the haps? I just responded to your thread over on UKK.

So you know how I feel about this lineup. It reminds me a lot of MusicFestNW's lineups. Except that 1) it's 4x as expensive and 2) I don't get to sleep in my own bed at night.

MusicFestNW is AWESOME. It's Portland's answer to South by Southwest. It keeps going up in price (it was only $30 in 2007, now it's up to $65) but they're also upping the great bands they bring in. Over the past three MusicFests there have been:

2008:
TV On The Radio
Built To Spill
Ratatat
Mogwai
Les Savy Fav
about a thousand good bands on the undercard

2009:
Sunny Day Real Estate
Explosions In The Sky
Dirty Three
Mudhoney
Titus Andronicus
Modest Mouse
among tons of other bands

2010's lineup you saw. I only went to two shows because of some prior commitments, but I got to see The Thermals and Titus Andronicus and thus left happy.

MusicFestNW is the best music festival in the US that nobody knows about.

that show at Pioneer Square with The National, Helio Sequence and The Walkmen was one of my favorite live music experiences ever in Portland. God, Helio Sequence are fucking great. For a local band, they hardly ever play here.

It doesn't seem like Helio Sequence tour much. I don't see them playing around here all that much.

I was going to go to that National show but it was my fiancee's birthday - and since she doesn't like any of those bands, I was on relationship duty. That gets two faces: :D

Oh well. Titus Andronicus DESTROYED the night before and the Thermals were awesome as well - in fact, the Thermals played "My Name Is Jonas" at their show and brought the house down at the Crystal Ballroom. I've never heard that place as loud as it was during the "workers are going home..." part.

Is anyone here actually going to Sasquatch?

I went to Sasquatch last year and probably had the best time of my life. Everything about it was perfect. The lineup this year is good, but day 1 last year will be impossible for any festival to top IMO.
