Sometimes I really like it, and other times I'm like, wow, this is some of the worst rapping ever.

I think he had one song that I liked but it was a novelty song or something.

I like "Could Well Be In" and "Blinded by the Light". Sometimes I really like how plain and pedestrian his lyrics are, and other times I'm like, you're not even trying dude.

I'm glad other people feel this way. I'm not sure there's an artist who I go back and forth on more than Mike Skinner.

No love for the first track on Grand Don't Come For Free? I think that's a good little British concept rap album.

Like most British rap: terrible rapping, horrible beats.

I don't really class it as rapping as such. It's really just a geezer having a yarn on a mike, with some light sound drum machine thrown in because it's pretty easy to do that on a computer.

Never thought much about them, I did like the first album a little. Then I saw them live in a festival this summer, and they put on one of the best show of the festival (alongside with the roots). Amy Winehouse cancelled at the last minute and the streets went on the big stage to fill her spot, and I'm really glad for that.
They also finished all their songs with a medley of "rehab", I think they pissed off a part of the crowd doing that.

About 2 yrs ago I read all the hype on here, went to the library and borrowed 2 CDs of theirs and I could not listen to it.... I really disliked it.
