I'm pissed I won't be there for this. Last year was so much fun. Have a blast, dude. Try to get near the front on Mike's side for the FTM set. It's worth it. A couple 4-5 minute solos last year.

I went ahead and bought a couple of tickets....not sure if these shows usually sell out.

I think my buddy out in Seattle will go with me, if not I will sell one outside or give it away.

It would be cool to meet someone from RM, if anyone decides to go.

I've seen this a few times, and it's an awesome show. Mike really tears it up...though it says it's acoustic this year? :|

no, just a set. No way the FTM can be acoustic. Last year Mike came out and did an acoustic set where he debuted Turning Mist or whatever it's called.

Subject: Message from Mike about FTM VIP pre-party
Hey Friends,

Mike here. As most of you know the 9th annual Flight to Mars http://www.myspace.com/flighttomars benefit show is coming up next Friday (April 8th) at Seattle?s Showbox Market http://www.showboxonline.com. Joining us on stage that night will be a special reunion of Lazy Susan, as well as special guests Buckets of Rain. You?ll want to get there early because I?m going to kick off the night with an acoustic set with my friend Brad Sinsel.

What you might not know is that we throw a rockin' VIP pre-party, in coordination with the Wishlist Foundation http://wishlistfoundation.org, where you can come in to the venue early and watch sound check. I?ll also be around to say hey and sign some autographs. There is always plenty of food and drink and it is always a great time. Good news is there are a few last minute VIP packages available for bidding over at Ebay http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZwishlistfoundation

Both the show and the pre-party will benefit CCFA?s Camp Oasis http://www.ccfa.org/kidsteens/about_camp and Advocacy for Patients http://www.advocacyforpatients.org, two organizations that are very important to me and my wife. If the VIP party isn?t an option, you can still buy general admission tickets here http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/2C004 ... wboxmarket.

If you can't make the show but would still like to support one of the charities, you can donate directly to our NW Team Challenge fundraising page http://www.active.com/donate/napa11northwest/NW or the Advocacy for Patients donation page http://www.advocacyforpatients.org/donate.html.

As an added bonus, the show will be broadcast live on a special airing of the evening?s festivities on Sirius XM - Pearl Jam Radio, hosted by Ten Club Manager Tim Bierman and The Rob.

Thank you for your support!

cheers,
Mike
