I once read a big article about the Juggalo festival. The writer was surprised about how nice the people there were.

Back in the summer of '02 ICP planted themselves in town for a 2-night residency at the Civic Center and the Juggalos totally tore the shit out of the riverfront area where all the hotels are. That weekend a friend and I went into a department store to get swimming trunks for a pool party and the worker--a woman probably in her early 60's--said, after helping us find what we were looking for: "Oh, it's so nice to have such nice young men in the store--all we've had all weekend have been those Insane Clown Clan People! They've been terrorizing our store all week!"
I'm pretty sure ICP was banned from town after that weekend--if not permanently, then at least for 5-10 years or so.
