This guy is the best. This thread is more for his solo albums. Kind of a country/folk/Band influences. Golden Bird off his new album, Electric Dirt, is amazing. Brings to mind the song from O Brother, Where art thou lol. He still has such a unique, but strong, voice. Bit of twang to it. If you like The Band, you will love his solo albums.

homie hosts "midnight rambles" on his farm these days....to pay the bills....got throat cancer a few years back and lost his voice completely...has only recently been singing again....one of the unrecognized greats....
