i was at this show last night in Providence, RI, was anyone else on the message board there last night? the show was really great. my favorite song was "Love and War" off of LE NOISE, Young's latest CD, not to mention "Cortez the Killer" and "Hey, Hey, My, My"

Young played "Hey, Hey, My, My," "Tell Me Why," "Helpless," "Cortez the Killer," "Down By The River, "After the Goldrush," "Ohio," and "Cinnamon Girl" - along with tracks off of LE NOISE, not to mention songs that were new to me

it was my first Neil Young performance and it was well worth the money spent on the tickets. good seats, however; the only downer is that Eddie's show on June 15, 2011, at the PPAC is sold out :(

i was just listening to Neil Young: MTV Unplugged and there's one song that sticks in my mind, morever; this song wasn't performed when i saw Neil on Friday night:

He loves his old laughin' lady
'Cause her taste his so sweet
But the laughin' lady's lovin'
Ain't the kind he can keep - NY/The Old Laughing Lady

perhaps the mod can add this to the Neil Young thread so it won't be so alone :)
