I met into Thom Yorke at a Borders Book store in Oxford about 10 years ago. No one else there recognised him (which I thought was a bit strange for a student town). I went up and said Hi and asked for an autograph and he said sure and looked down at the handful of cds I was going to purchase and queried if I wanted him to sign the copy of Neil Young's Harvest I was about to buy. I laughed and said no and got him to sign my notebook instead but in hindsight how cool would it have been to have a copy of Harvest signed by Thom Yorke

why is that?
I don't know. Haven't seen them since 2003. I appreciate their post-2000 music. I definitely do. But looking at the setlists, I'm just a bit scared they'll leave me wanting more of the stuff I originally fell in love with. We'll see tomorrow, I guess.

Oh 2003 would have been such a great time to see them. All the great songs from their past 3 records and then OK Computer before that. Shit...that'd have been a show.

They were fucking great when I saw them this year. I had to listen the shit out of their b-sides and TKoL. So that was kind of a win-win cuz there was a lot of great stuff I'd never really gotten into before. And Christ, are they good live.

I have decided I consider them a new band who play a few covers of an old band I really loved. This way I really loved the concert. This was the setlist. Karma Police & Paranoid Android were by far my highlights, which feels a bit weird. And True Love Waits which was a bit of a "holy shit, I never thought I'd see this moment. But the rest of the show was pretty great as well. I don't know if that even makes sense. This band confuses me.

i wish they did more songs...i mean, i like their experimental stuff, but at this point it would be really experimental for them to actually try and write some pop songs again.
