i've just learned it exists
most of you might be missing out on the lyrics because it's french, i know i am because there are lots of them and it's a complete musical theatre (Mme Dubas was also an actress) but from what i got upon first listen, they're shockingly avant-garde for late-thirties songs.
so is the music and the melodies and time tricks/arrangements are outstanding .
