Our goal for 2011 - Let's Make A Record

Over the past few months, we've been busy jamming, writing and hanging out together - exploring the creative aspect of being Soundgarden. It feels great. We have some cool new songs that we are going to record very soon. Thank you for all of the support!

Loudest of Love,

Ben, Chris , Kim and Matt

I need this to be dark. I dont have faith in Chris to produce dark material anymore, but I'm hoping Kim still has it in him. Hopefully they don't disappoint.

That said, I'm really excited by this. Those bands that reunite after years apart and don't do anything but some live shows are a bore, at least these guys obviously still have a chemistry together and they're not willing to rest on their laurels. Good luck to 'em.

Hopefully these guys are smart enough to not shit all over their legacy by releasing sub-par material after a 15 year hiatus. This bitch better be full of dark riffs, weird tunings, and screaminin' Thayil solos or they are gonna piss off a whole lotta people.

got to hear 2 new songs a few weeks ago...one was very VERY rocking...the other had Ben singing on it, sounded a lot like a Mark Lanegan tune (which is good)...will be interesting to see what else they come up with...

This guy is in the know (owner of Easy Street from memory), so I don't doubt this is legit.

Don't really care about a new record but a tour would be nice. Hopefully they still have it.

If there is one thing I've learned over the years, it's that you don't hassle Radiohead fans. They're like wounded badgers, just more passive. Yeah, I know that sounds like an oxymoron, but they hate it when you tell them that Radiohead is boring as all hell.
