Some really good songs on this. 'Splendor' is especially good...

It took me this long to realize how amazing "New City" is because I was so obsessed with the first half of this album. So good.

*New Map

But I had the same experience. Now New Map is probably my favorite track. Such a great album.

I can't believe it's 70 minutes long. It seems to just fly by.

Does this negate the need to include my love of Euro dance bands in the "guilty pleasures" thread?

I don't feel like m83 is a dance band.

Really? Electronica? Synthpop? My kids and I regularly dance to tracks from "Hurry Up, We're Dreaming."

I mean can you dance to it? Of course. To me, it just has more melody and hooks than a dance band typically does. I'm sure we all have our own intepretation of these type designations.

I've never really bought into the guilty pleasure idea when it comes to music. If something's catchy to me, or has some form of appeal, why should I feel guilty about it? I know some songs that are catchy have horrible lyrics or some other quality to dislike, but still, I like it for a reason.

I only feel guilty when I know Jorge wouldn't approve.
