Looks like it'll be the next month or two. Hopefully it won't take too long for a global release.

There was a private screening of I'm Now in West Seattle this past weekend. The filmmakers tell me the first public premiere will be in December or January.

I for one, am super looking forward to it. Both this, and the upcoming KARP doc Kill All Redneck Pricks.

!K7 Records announce the release of Mudhoney live in Berlin 1988 on DVD.

The rare, recently uncovered performance at Berlin’s Independent Days festival captures Mudhoney's debut overseas performance.

Mark says about the show: “We’d only played Portland, outside of Seattle… And to be flown out to Berlin to play a show, at that point, seemed almost like a joke to us.”

Release date: November 13th

It ain't bad, but Piece of Cake is easily my favourite Mudhoney LP.

When a band deigns something their worst/laziest album, I get rather annoyed when I see journalists or fans uncritically repeat that opinion as if the band's opinion is unquestionably correct.

Exactly. It's as ridiculous as believing the shit Pearl Jam says about any upcoming album.

We Are Rising is awesome, as are Sonic Infusion, Baby, Can you Dig the Light, Crooked and Wide and the Shimmering Light. As for old stuff I think self titled is the only one worth revisiting. Their early hits are terrible now, but their new stuff is phenomenal.

Yeah, that did sound harsh looking back. Suck you Dry, Touch Me Im Sick, You Got It and Here Comes Sickness sounds awful to my ears but there are great songs on some of the early discs such as Thorn, Move Out, This Gift, Make It Now, 13th Floor and Blinding Sun. 1998- is their best stuff by far in my opinion. I'll take Steve Turner solo discs over Supermuff, Cake and My Brother.
