I'd like them, but they're not worth the extra cash for me.
SD and MCIS were big albums for me. Not so much for the other stuff.
Besides, for all the more I've listed to the extra disc from SD, I'm just not gonna drop the cash. I'll save it for Pearl Jam and Nirvana.

What bottom of the barrel scrapings are you looking for from Nirvana? I bought the Bleach and Nevermind re-issues because I never had the originals and thought both were, outside of the music, pretty poor.

What do you mean by "outside of the music?" Don't you buy records for the music? I'm not being combative, I'm genuinely, kinda,

They were poor reissues, but only because they left off plenty of great material that they could have (and should have) included.

But is this not Billy being a victim of his own work rate? If he wasn't so prolific, people couldn't level this criticism at him.

I was never a fan of 'Gish'. I remember when it was first released. They reviewed it in long-defunct Oz metal magazine 'Hot Metal', and said it was "music to do the hoovering to." Not the best review then. I didn't get the (most recent) reissue (it was reissued in the late 1990s as a remaster; I got that but it sounded no different to the original, I don't think).
The 'Siamese Dream' reissue is amazing. It's remixed as well as remastered, and it's a VAST sonic improvement on the original. The live DVD from Chicago's Metro is brilliant and the bonus CD is to die for. A reissue done really well.

I thought the packaging and presentation sucked in both Nirvana re-issues. Making Bleach a single disc was a horrible idea. Not including a meaningful set of liner notes or lyrics is just sub-par work on a re-issue. Lack of meaningful liner notes and lyrics holds for Nevermind as well. Plus the second disc of Nevermind is just too much of the same thing. The same songs just slightly different over and over.
If record companies are going to keep doing re-issues then they have to make the packaging exciting or I'll just download the remaster for free with the thinking that I purchased the copyrights to the music with the original disc years ago.
I thought the Smashing Pumpkins did a good job on their re-issues with packaging, bonus dic and including a live show on dvd. I will sit down with those sets and look at the packaging while listening to the music (a more complete immersion in the art). The Nirvana stuff I just stream through iTunes.

No, it's not remixed.
I'm pretty sure Billy says something in the liner notes about it being remixed. I'm willing to stand corrected though. Regardless, it is still sonically superior to the original release.

Ditto.
Are they reissuing TAFH on vinyl??

Not sure on that, but it wouldn't surprise me knowing how Corgan is.
It would be extremely bad ass if they did.

BONUS DISC
1) By June (Ignoffo Sessions/2012 Mix) - from Lull 2) My Dahlia (Ignoffo Sessions/2012 Mix) - GREAT early song 3) Jesus Loves His Babies (Gish Sessions Rough Mix) - outtake from Gish, kind of silly but very catchy 4) Cinnamon Girl (Ignoffo Sessions/2012 Mix) - Neil Young cover, very straight-forward 5) Glynis (2012 Mix) - also available on No Alternative 6) Crawl (Gish Sessions outtake) - no clue what this is 7) Cinder Open (Eddy St. demo/2012 Mix) - I assume this is same song as "Cinder" from Mashed Potatoes Blissed (Sadlands demo/2012 Mix) - Billy put this out earlier this year on a flexidisc. 9) Slunk (Live) (2012 – Remaster) - I assume this is from Mashed Potatoes 10) Jackie Blue - cover that ended up on some really obscure compilation circa 1990-1991 11) Venus in Furs (Live) - I think this was on Mashed Potatoes 12) Translucent (Sadlands demo/2012 mix) - 1990 demo of song on Mashed Potatoes 13) French Movie Theme (Siamese Sessions outtake) - this was a B-side from the SD era. Kind of stupid but kind of fun. 14) Purr Snickety (Gish b-sides session outtake) - ditto. 15) There It Goes (Demo/2012 Mix) - one of the earliest SP songs, pre-dating even Jimmy. Cool song. 16) Vanilla (Ignoffo Sessions) - Cool acoustic song circa 1989. 17) Why Am I So Tired (Live in studio demo) - I assume this will be the version on Earphoria...15 minutes of plodding.
Tasty.
I need Matt Reeder to explain all of this songs for me.
