This has been available for a few weeks if not an entire month already. Seeing as it took this long for anyone to mention it kind of tells you all you need to know about the quality of the song.

They don't sound the same anymore. I heard it on the radio a week or so ago. The first few moments into the song I thought it was something new from Bloc Party.

well this isn't worse than that hideous solo record of his. Their first two records were good and then they just completely lost the ability to write a decent song.

In retrospect (as in not being a teenager anymore) the first record is cornier than a South Dakota tourist attraction and the second one is really contrived and lyrically a step away from being a high school drama mag.

oh, they're moronic songs, but they're catchy and they sound nice. Glycerine is still a pretty song, Machinehead still sounds like it's making a statement (it's not, but it sounds like it), and there are quite a few riffs on that first album. I haven't listened to razorblade suitcase in forever so I won't comment on that one. Gavin Rossdale has absolutely nothing of consequence to say but he used to be able to wrap nothing up in a fairly appealing package. It's all surface, but it was a shiny surface at least.
