this is a great band, clearly influenced by King Crimson but still quite unique and fairly agressive for a prog band. the bass is very proeminent and its tone slays - they also use a lot of mellotron and cello i don't know much about their recent releases but VEMOD is a truly essential album for anybody who's into heavy prog and dark moods and it begins like this: Karelia
that awesome video showcases the sleeve of said Vemod.

In 1998, the album Symphonic Holocaust was released. It was recorded by Nicklas Barker and Peter Nordins of Anekdoten, along with Stefan Dimle and Reine Fiske of fellow Swedish progressive rock band Landberk. The album is comprised mostly of covered themes from horror movies, such as Cannibal Holocaust and Rosemary's Baby. Its music is characterised by improvisation, and the plentiful use of mellotron and synthesizers.
