Was it sort of like the time I tried to download a couple of tracks from Weezer's green album on napster in 2001 only to get "Oh What A Night" (and since for whatever inexplicable reason I had never heard that song, thought that it was just Weezer being silly old ironic Weezer?)

At the risk of sounding like our resident loveable hyperbolator, Joey, "This Will Be Our Year" is just an absolutely perfect song for this band to cover.

There are too many standouts on their first LP to pick a favorite. What We Gained, Let The Record Go, Right Place, Good Heart and Give It Time have all been (and continue to be) the ones I've called "favorite" most often. I love all of those songs.
But if I the powers that be made it so I could only listen to one Mynabirds song for the rest of my days... my choice would be Wolf Mother.

I know we've touched on it before, but how is Wanderlust lyrically? Has she always been a strong lyricist or do you think this is something she's gained along the way?

Is this band that good or does chud or has this thread just become Chuds home?
I love this band. Easily my favorite "new" band of the last couple years. I can't get enough of them. Two outstanding albums, an awesome lead singer/insightful and soulful songwriter, a brilliant live show.
