Chud, thank you so much for turning me on to this band. I can't thank you enough.

I've been digging this band like a grave lately.

I'm glad to hear that. They're clearly my most listened to over the last few months.

I've been making a real effort to expand my artist repertoire this year, many thanks to various RM raves. So far I've only heard these guys' debut, but I have "Generals" on order.

I think my favorite on the debut is "We Made a Mountain."

Generals is VERY different than the debut, but I love it just as much.

I'm sure I'll like it. This chick has one of those could-sing-the-phonebook voices.

For sure, and she knows her way around a studio. She sounds amazing on my new cans.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one.

Both albums are off the hook. But GENERALS has been killing me lately. I basically just go back and forth between that and Blunderbuss. Over and over. All damn day long. Though, honestly, sometimes I play a little Pigpen Theater Co. Just to mix it up.

I've had Generals for a few days now. What an album--I can't think of another artist off the top of my head who's ever made such a monumental creative leap from album one to album two--it feels almost like a different artist altogether, but it feels like such a logical jump. I think my faves right now are "Radiator Sister," "Mightier Than the Sword," and "Body of Work." But really, no duds on either album. Great group, thanks chud.

Isn't it incredible!

My favorites are Mightier Than The Sword and Wolf Mother.

I just ordered Laura Burhenn's 2004 solo record "Wanderlust" which has excellent reviews. It's out of print but I found it used on Amazon.com. I can't find her first solo record, 1999's "Not Ashamed To Say" anywhere.

I'm also downloading the Georgie James album "Places" which was released in 2007. It's the band she was in after her solo records but before The Mynabirds.

I want to hear every song this girl has ever sung.
