"Body of Work" really breathes in the 7" format.

What would you have tweeted if she hadn't been so agreeable?

A sincere apology.

And now I'm following Nicole Childrey.

She is balls out on the drums. I was completely blown away by her when I saw them live. She totally elevates the band to a different level.

Didn't know her name.

Thanks Pete!

I really like In The Mouths of Wolves. When I hear it, I picture the singer standing in the middle of a garish late seventies television set owned by some evangelical christian broadcasting company, dressed in sequins, and singing her pure, scared little heart out into a golden microphone before being swept away into a world that doesn't really love her.

Hey Joey, set up dropbox so I can send you stuff more easily.

I'll try to set up dropbox tomorrow night. I'll let you know how it goes.

Is it pretty easy/self-explanatory? Or should I use today to research how to do it?

You can figure this out. Basically you register then install the software. When you set it up you'll set up a folder on your computer that becomes your dropbox folder. Anything you put in there is synced with their servers and can be accessed on any other device you set dropbox up on or their website. But, the key thing is sharing. I can put something in my dropbox folder, share it to you, and once you accept it'll automatically download into your dropbox folder.

Also, make sure you register via the link I posted so we get referral credit. It benefits both of us.

Turns out I already have a dropbox. Huh.

Anyway. I've got it on my new computer now!

So how long before you tell Laura and co. that you've turned a small corner of a Pearl Jam message board into a shrine for their music?

I mean, now that you know they're into Pearl Jam, they're bound to think we're all sooper kewl, right?

You might really like the Lumineers record on that list, Pete. If you don't, David Glass definitely will.

"Singer and songwriter Laura Burhenn has one of the strongest voices in contemporary pop music — she could certainly hold her own against the likes of Adele and Florence Welch — and is an even better songwriter..."

But here's the real question: is Generals the best album of the year?

Once I figure out how to rip the source file, I'm editing my Awesome Mynabirds Mix to use this version of Mightier Than The Sword:
