Finally. I've had that damn tape since the early 90's, it'll be nice to get it on CD for a reasonable price.
From what I heard, this Rykoplast or whatever the hell their name is, kinda sucks. They put out all their CDs in green-tinted jewel cases. And I guess PHM isn't going to be remastered or anything.
That will come later when they put out another version in 5.1 and have bonus stuff. I can't remember where I saw it, but Trent said something about doing that with this group, so I would hold off for a bit, unless you're a rabid collector.

Reissue, but no remaster? WHAT THE COCK?
I know Trent cares about sound quality and knows that PHM could sound much better than it does. How could he let this happen?
Because he knows that people will buy this and then, when he does remaster and remix it in 5.1, people will buy that, too.
And yeah, it's because of TVT and the agreements they had, along with Malm. Trent doesn't own the rights to the album, so he has no say. Prudential does, and I guess they struck a deal with Ryko and Trent to reissue this now and then do a deluxe thing later or something.
But pretty much everywhere but America can still buy PHM.
