just dl'ed that father john misty, ill check it

beach house has a couple ok songs, but it aint my thing.. was totally bored w it halfway thru n took it out

walkmens ok..no way as great as people are givin it credit to be

pretty pumped cuz i heard gentleman jesse put out a new one, extremely happy to see old crow medicine show has one comin soon

Yeah, I just got the album yesterday, and after one listen I really like it. The girl's voice sort of reminds me of Sarah Cracknell from Saint Etienne--not in a "sounds just like her" kind of way, mind you, but there is a characteristic common to the voices that I can't quite pinpoint. A mix of vulnerability and a sense of wonder, almost.

I just got back from seeing Beach House. Not bad. Not bad at all. But I thought they were better on record, unfortunately.
