I liked Beyond better at first but Farm definitely grew on me to the point where I listen to it more than Beyond. I though Ocean in the Way was a real standout on Farm but Been There All the Time from Beyond is easily one of my fav Dino tunes.

That`s what happened to me..Beyond seems like a better album, but Farm is being played more....as for the new one, after a first listen gotta say its pretty good, there are some lou songs that remind me of REM

When it comes to Lou's two songs, I don't really care for Rude (although it made me think of R.E.M. as well, and I'm hoping it'll grow on me), but Recognition is fucking awesome. Overall, I'm really happy with it. Don't Pretend You Didn't Know, Watch the Corners, Almost Fare, Recognition, and See It On Your Side are the standouts to me, but the whole thing is quite good.

It sounds pretty bad regardless in my opinion. Particularly I Want You To Know. Which is a shame because all the songs are so cool. See You is one of my favorite Dino Jr. songs ever. We're Not Alone also was also a gem for me off Beyond, so I'm confident this new one will have a song or two on it I really like.
I'm going to wander over to their site an pre order this on vinyl now, actually...

Still digesting the new record, so far i can say that i prefer Farm over this one...but the same happened before with Farm and Beyond. I love Watch the corners, dont pretend you didnt know ( the piano over the guitars is new and really nice), Almost fare ( Like the tempo...sound really cool and relaxed) and see it on your side.

I think we are lucky to get 3 amazing albums from Dinosaur Jr. I'll be seeing them at Tipitinas in New Orleans this October and I'm bringing earplugs this time around!
