all I have to say is that Morello should have just done this instead of doing Audioslave

I don't know, this is probably really bad but Audioslave had some good tracks on all the albums it all just sounded the same and kinda seemed unnatural. Morello is fucking overrated and just recycles the same shit all the time.

I see it as a very positive thing, it's gonna make Cornell's album look pretty good after all.

Seriously, this stuff is worth listening to, and is definitely as far as you can get from Rage musically. He has a few songs up on his Myspace, if you want to take a listen.

I heard three songs he played on the radio and i thought he was a poor singer, but that's just my taste.

Way more excited for this then Cornell's new solo album after hearing No Such Thing. Thought I had already commented on a thread regarding this project by Morello but maybe that was another forum...

I've seen The Nightwatchman twice, both in LA and it was a hell of a show. He's an intense singer live, from the songs I've heard it doesn't come across the same way. I thought this was how Cornell's album was gonna be when he said "...in an acoustic vein..." We shall see.

Favorite song: California's Dark

I first heard The Nightwatchman on the Axis of Justice CD, and I really liked those songs. I'm listening to the myspace stuff now and it's pretty good, too. I'll pick up the CD sometime.

Oh man, I'm a huge Rage fan, but this is just awful. I heard a song on the way home today and I was literally laughing at how stupid at sounded.

This isn't as bad as i expected it to be. Musically it's nice. I'm not struck on his voice and a lot of the lyrics are kinda lame but overall it's not entirely offensive to my senses.

Well i really sincerely hate it, music, lyrics, voice, everything. To me it sounds like someone is trying way too hard.

This is fucking horrible. He wouldn't even be able to get a gig at a local bar on open mic night.
