The Walkmen Reveal New Album Details
After a couple years of rehearsals in warehouses and converted nightclubs, countless hours shuttling band members between Philly and New York on the Chinatown bus, hundreds of discarded demos, and a distance of many miles separating recording sessions in Oxford, Mississippi and the Big Apple, the Walkmen have finally put the finishing touches on their fourth proper LP, You & Me. The set, clocking in just short of an hour, is due August 19 from their new label, Gigantic Music.
Come August, the Walkmen will bring You & Me to you and I, as they spend a little time on the road in North America.

I bought their first album "Bows + Arrows" mainly for the track called The Rat because of the drum intro but the entire wasn't that good. How's the rest of their catalog?

I think I might be the only person in the world who's favorite is 100 Miles Off. I don't know, something about that record struck me like the others didn't. It's really good.
