Doubtful since it doesn't come out for another month and the last two albums weren't leaked until late.

Amazon said Dec 11th, but maybe they've got it wrong.

They moved up the release from mid-January to early December, I think - because of the lead singer's rehab and they had to cancel shows or something. I recorded Quattro this past weekend and started watching it when all of a sudden I had to turn it off. Billy Joe might be the douchiest douche that ever douched. I just can't stand his stupid antics (which is probably why I can't stand 95% of the lyrics on Uno and Dos). He's fucking 40 years old and acts like a 14 year old. I usually don't care about this stuff but for some reason it is starting affect how I feel about their music. Time to grow up.

IHeartRadio is streaming Tre. Slow site right now.

I saw the Quatro footage. Kinda run of the mill, but Tre recording tambourine was hysterical.

And from the documentary, you could easily tell that the third record's miles better than the second.

So I listened to Tre. I don't like it as much as Dos, but it's on par with Uno. 3 faves on it are "Sex, Drugs & Violence", "Little Boy Named Train" and "X-Kid". HATED "Drama Queen" at first, but starting to dig it now.

Tre's the best. Pretty cool. You take a few songs from Uno, and then Stop When The Red Lights Flash from Dos and mash it all up and you'd have something on par with Nimrod.

I highly doubt that.

Listen for and judge for yourself. A solid best-of from these records would be their strongest work since the late 90s and you could make a record on your own that would rival Nimrod's best moments.

Green Day lost me so profoundly with "American Idiot" and "21st Century Breakdown" that I'm not even sure I'd recognize a "return to form"--I listened to a few songs off "Uno" and just recoiled at the slightest sign of distress.

1. Nuclear Family
2. Rusty James
3. A Little Boy Named Train
4. Stop When The Red Lights Flash
5. 8th Avenue Serenade
6. Missing You
7. Fell For You
8. Amanda
9. X-Kid
10. Walk Away
11. Kill The DJ
12. Sweet 16
13. Loss Of Control
14. Sex, Drugs & Violence
15. 99 Revolutions
16. Lazy Bones
17. Angel Blue
18. Let Yourself Go
19. Oh Love
20. Dirty Rotten Bastards
21. The Forgotten

That's 21 tracks in 75 minutes. I'm willing to concede that even with length its probably not as strong as the music on Nimrod, but its fairly close and certainly the best they've cranked out in the last 15 years.

Maybe because its Green Day, but Tre doesn't really get a lot of credit for being a solid rock drummer, does he? Everyone's always in the Grohl camp for modern rock drummers, but in studio, in concert, the guy's always on point.
