This leaked, and sounds pretty good btw.

(IMHO :P )

yeah, but "Makeout Party" is a terrible song in name mostly, but the song itself is still lame

Do people actually have those now? Makeout parties? That's like orgies for teens, right?

I also agree on Dos being weaker... I bet if they'd sandwiched uno dos and tre, we'd get a very solid 12 track album.

"Nightlife" was a standout track for me on my first listen this morning, I like the direction and would have appreciated more experimentation like that. Something that explores the world outside of chordy-'punk' music.

That was an immediate turn-off. I want crunchy guitars and melody from this band. Not that. Add Tre's tight drumming and Mike's harmonies and its complete sugar, which is all I expect from these guys. No poetic lyrics, nothing serious.

The only song on ¡Dos! is Stop When The Red Lights Flash. Everything else, you have to pinch your nose.

Forgive my cynicism, but I think it's probably far too late to respect anything trying to be 'poetic' or 'experimental' from Greenday.

I have to admit that Dos hasn't really sunk-in yet for me. However that's because I keep going back to Uno for more and more.
Uno is just fantastic. Even with new Soundgarden, new Neil Young, new PJ boots... I keep coming back to Uno.

I've always disrespected Green Day's lyrics. Their first widely known song was about roughing up the suspect. You can't expect deep introspection from a band that has multiple songs about jerkin' it. And that's never been the case with me. I don't expect world-defining lyrics from people like Billie Joe Armstrong or Noel Gallagher or Dexter Holland. I just want guitars and hooks. And ¡Dos! has ONE song on it that's worth repeating. You can already tell that the single disc mix is going to be pretty good, but holy shit is there a ton of filler.

I like that as well, but when we're getting three albums worth of material I just like to look for the oddities.

Liking Dos more than Uno. Fave 3 tracks are "Wild One", "Stop When The Red Lights Flash" and "Ashley".

I like Ashley alot too, but still can't stop listening to Uno. It's just so damn good.

My favorites so far from iDos! are:
-Lazy Bones
-Stray Heart
-Wow! That's Loud

No, none of them are profound or transcendent in any way.
I just love finger-snappin' punchy ditties like these.

Well that would be awkward to see Quatro before Tres.
