I'm a fan of this record

I'm not sure if this is the only official recording that NEM put out, but it is worth picking up/dl'ing. It has a bit of Crowes feel to it, but is more slanted towards the soul/singer-songwriter vibe that I think Chris brings to the Crowes. No serious rockers, but some good listening and a couple of really pretty ballads. Also worth tracking down is the acoustic show from May 29, 2002 La Boule Noire - Paris, France. It's just Chris and guitarist Paul Stacey and good quality aud. recordings are out there. Check your favorite torrent site.

I had d'loaded some of it, but couldn't get it all, so I broke down and bought from Amazon. I paid $5.99 + shipping.

The 2nd New Earth Mud album (This Measured Distance, I think it's called) has a few great songs on it. "40 Days" is a hell of a rocker.

This Magnificent Distance, and yes 40 days is most groovy.
