If you can hear the Real to Reel version, it kills the album cut. Not one of Roger's better songs (if I ever get around to figuring out Sonoran Hope and Madness...), but it's an easy one to play and it was a good warm-up that night. When we do a booze and bray they can run kind of long, so you try to start at a reasonable pace. |

thanks for the votes... sorry to see you go strat. Have really enjoyed your songs. I will forever associate you with the little mermaid now. McP vs Bada This is a tough one. I love anything bookshelf sings, but was expecting more. Also...this song hasn't really had time to sink in for me. I'm a bit on the fence about this SG album...might be affecting my ears a bit. McP continues to hit em out of the park for me. I love all the little backround sounds. I've always been a big fan of your voice...nothing different here. I'm thinking McP gets my vote...barely |

Would it be lame if I posted a link to my song in the King Animal thread? I'm not trolling for votes just want people who are in to that albums opinion. If you guys think it might be unfair I'll wait till after this round is over. |

I think the chances for people liking your cover because it's a King Animal song are about as high as people thinking it sucks because you dared to cover it etc. etc. So yeah. I wouldn't mind. Likewise, I wouldn't mind McP posting his cover in one of the many Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers threads we got here. |

McP as well. I hate Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers with a passion and have spent my 11+ years in AZ avoiding them, yet you made one of their songs enjoyable. Nice work, sir. |
