No threads on her, folks?

Hands down one of the best artists from the 90s and 00s. There are very few people who I can honestly say I like pretty much everything they have done and she is one of them. She's in a world of her own. I really don't think she has had anything close to a bad album.

I'm going to eventually get a hold of her live box set. It has 4 discs that are each separated by album. Very cool. Comes with a dvd too.

Anyways...this broad doesn't get talked about enough here, and I would've liked to have seen her on the RM list.

Quite a few people here like her music. My favorite Bjork album is probably Homogenic. Most of her stuff is good, I wasn't really feeling Medulla though.

Haven't seen it yet. Lars Von Trier directed, so it should be nicely viewable.

Homogenic is more or less my favorite and it was my introduction to Björk. I've been listening to Vespertine a lot lately. I liked Medúlla, it has some really great songs on it, but it's not as solid or cohesive from start to finish, so I've never listened to it as much.

Putting on Selmasongs now... :)

It's a really good film... especially the end is... very typically Björk I believe... the only musical I actually like I think

Bjork's first album still sounds pretty good

Whoa whoa whoa wait - she didn't make it on the list? Oy.

Yeah, I love Bjork. Vespertine and Post are in. fucking. credible.

And Dancer In The Dark is okay. Some of it feels kind of forced and, in the end, it's ridiculously depressing with no point.

If you want atmosphere, there isn't too much Bjork you can go wrong with. Just don't start with Medulla. I guess go with Debut, Post or Vespertine.

Start with Homogenic. The first track ("Hunter") will hook you.

I never liked her to begin with, but when I saw footage of her dressed in some ridiculous duck outfit at some awards show and attacking a korean reporter for attempting to ask her a question I ended up hating her a LOT. She seems like a fucking nut and she's not attractive at all.

Yes, because that has a lot to do with her music.
