I really dig the first half-minute or so of this. I lose interest when the guy starts singing.

I decided since that thread became more about the disappearance of Pearl Jam, that RNDM should have it's own thread where theyre the star.

This looks like a mid-90s Guttermouth video.

Dude has a really weak voice. Sorry, I got shouted down in the other thread for this but I just don't dig them. Mediocre.

Edit: also, the bass is WAY high in the mix, making the whole recording sound a bit 'homemade' (to put it kindly).

It wasn't the fact that you didn't like the track that caused the shouting down, Harmy.

I'm not wild about it either. It's okay, not awful. I still don't hear the amateur/home-made production aesthetic that you find so off-putting.

What was it? That I didn't like it and tried to describe in detail why?

This song is what it is. There's moments that are fun enough for me to want to check out the LP, but it will probably end up being little more than an obscure artifact in my Pearl Jam vinyl collection. Upon viewing it, I couldn't help but speculate what a side project consisting of Gossard, Ament, and Irons would sound like.

I love Harmless, even when he's crabby.

I'm just ribbing him about our earlier discussion about this. The one where we tussled about his statement that this song was okay but wasn't "necessary".

But anyway, I think we talked that into the ground last time around.

Have you heard Jeff's recent solo LP, Reid?

The most recent thing I've heard from him was that Tres Mts LP. Does his solo stuff sound like his stripped down vocal demo for that Ramones cover that was released as a holiday single several years ago?

Not enough for my liking, but his recent stuff is still pretty good.

His first album ('Tone') sucked, however.
