I like a lot of their stuff, but that's the only song of theirs I can think of that I would stick in a "favorite songs ever" playlist.

Amen to that. There were some great versions of Midnight Rambler in 1972 with Mick lighting it up.

This one is all Mick Taylor...it was nice to see them trying it in the bigger band tour, but they should have ask Mick to come out and play it.

I'll second this. None of my friends know this one and look at me like I'm insane when I continue to mention it. My favorite overall Stones album as well.

^ Yeah man, it's a gem for sure, and for me, their best song.

I also really really like this. Not sure if this is just "old" or "real old". It's more like "early mid" Stones, towards the end of the Brian Jones days. The piano is sooooooo good, and kinda dreamy / sad / haunting; I love it!

I think I'm the only one who likes this game :(

Anywho, this is another gem from that "early mid" period from 1966, an 'Aftermath' outtake (kinda sounds like the Kinks):

Love Who's been sleeping here.

(edit Love, "If you let me")

Love LOVE loving cup.

Between the ages of 13 - 15, with the help of santa claus and the easter bunny, etc. and every $5 bill stuck in a birthday card, I was able to collect all the U.S.-released Rolling Stones albums (what do they call it now, vinyl?) up until that point in time. I believe "Undercover" (1983) was my last.

The hardest album to find was "Metamorphosis", Image which I joyfully found in a box of albums in a shitty old five-and-dime thrift store. (I just remember the store's name was "Jupiter".....so, yeah, I had to go to friggin Jupiter to get it.) The album cover had one of the corners snipped which means....I forget what it means...

I loved Metamorphosis and this song was my favorite from it:
