Tiger's just money on this course and with the added incentive to win for the old man, i think he's in for a big, big, big week. I love watching him play and I actually root for him, even though it's kind of like rooting for the Yankees. I just think in such an individual-based sport it's good to have someone that everyone else guns for like TW.
Regardless of the outcome, though, this is my favorite tournament to watch. Augusta is so beautiful, it's the first major, it's always got great stories going on and Bill Murray won the green jacket with a 350-yard five-iron there after hitting the previous shot, a two iron, just about 100-yards. i'm probably wrong, but I dont think anyone such as phil has won the week before and also won the masters...at least in this modern era
you are correct. I was at the bellsouth last weekend and he was absolutely ridiculous with the flat stick and his iron shots were on, hell everything was on. I worry that he took the 56 out of the bag but hey, it's working right? I imagine that means he can hit the 60 a good ways. one year he brought a 64 and that was his demise at 14. It wouldn't be a fun tournament unless he put it in the water several times going for it because Phil is the real world equivalent of Tin Cup but if he keeps any of what he had last week, he'll be around on Sunday. He's made mistakes at Augusta before learned and won a tournament, once you get past the initial screw ups and win one the confidence is there. Goosen has a good shot, as does Els, I think Tiger will be razor sharp and Earl is stubborn enough to stick around long enough to see his son win one for the thumb I feel certain.
I just hope we get a few more sunday chips like Tigers at 16 last year. Sure, it took a ton of skill and even more luck, but honestly, that shot was just awesome. I want drama on sunday this year. I hope a lot of guys are in it.

One of my favorite sporting events. It has long been tradition to watch every minute of live coverage of this tournament. My prediction is Tiger even though it's pretty cliche. He simply owns this course.
