Aye, so the time is upon us once again for another season in which the MLS Powers that Be decide it's a good idea to continue playing during the World Cup. Fucking idiots.
Why did Houston get a nickname, it would have been so much cooler if they would have stuck with the year.
Because the Mexican population of Houston complained and threatened to boycott the team.
Why the league caved is anyone's guess. MLS doesn't draw the hispanic crowd ANYWAY, no matter how much they want it to.
Thanks DJ, I just didn't know the reason behind it, I had seen the year logo and name then I went back a couple weeks ago and I saw that they were the Dynamo (which in my opinion is a gay name, almost as gay as REAL S.L.)
