Thought this was a great quote

"-And when I’m alone with the President and his staff the President will say things to me and I’ll literally turn to the president and say ‘Mr. president how can you say that knowing you don’t know the facts’ and he’ll look at me and he’ll say, ‘My instincts. I have good instincts.'"
"I think he makes these decisions based on his instincts and then prays he’s right"

-Sen. Joe Biden on President Bush and how he uses prayer to "aid" him in making major decisions concerning the welfare of our Country-

It's causing post-operative complications.

I don't know about you guys, but I was really impressed with Joe Biden on Real Time. He was articulate, and made some good points throughout the show, especially about how democrats need to stop pandering to the republican base and start addressing their message to the majority of American citizens who don't vote at all.

I don't hear any other democratic presidential hopefuls saying that.

I'm quite a fan of Biden. He always seems to speak his mind no matter what everyone thinks. I love that, but Howard Dean was similar in that respect, and it turned out to be his downfall.

True, it did seem to get a lot of t.v. time. Maybe next time he should follow in John Kerry's footsteps, and be more dull and unintresting. Both of which are better then stupidity, cough current president cough.

Proof that only Democrats are embarrassed when their leaders make an ass of themselves.

if you look at the facts, he made that ridiculous speech after he underperformed in Iowa. He was expected to win given that most of the caucus participants are similar to the fringe you'd find on message boards like this. Yet, he was STILL unable to win. The "i have a scream speech" merely added to the momentum of kerry.
