So in my english class, we have to do an oral presentation on a subject of our choice. Of course I picked Pearl Jam...So I was wondering which song I should play in front of the class....

My choices would be :

Corduroy
Given to fly
or something along those lines....Something to show off they are a really great band that can appeal to everyone...Maybe I could convert some people !

I say go with Given to Fly. There are a few people that I know who don't like most of PJ's music, but they all love that song.

My advice would be to not do it on a music band, especially one that a lot of them havent heard of, they'll think your weird and quite possibly get bored. Do it on something everyone can relate to like, walking everyone walks (except extremely obesse people, and other people that have a disability).

think of it, you could have overheads of pictures of people walking and show the different styles and what walking style you have could determine what type of personality you have...

I dont know about anyone else but I'd find that a lot more interesting...

just think if billy billson is into christina agullaalara you wouldnt want to be subjected to 3 minutes of crap music, just like some of your class mates will have to sit through 3 minutes of pearl jam.

given to fly is a good bet. It has one innapropriate word, as long as you are in 11th-12th grade or college it should be fine.

Do the report on Pearl Jam. When I was in highschool I always did my speeches and reports on fave band PJ. I always got a great grade, and people would ask me about more PJ info after. Only because I made it so interesting!!
So just make sure your enthusiastic and can capture their attention. You'll do awesome!

Class looked bored as with any other presentation but I think I did my best...Got away with 82/100...

if u would have picked a rocker like save u the class wouldnt have been bored. all the students would have gotten up out of their seats and began to rock on out down the hall
