I see bad stuff about it all the time on this board. It is one of my top 5-7, and I'm sick of it being pummeled.
Why I like it?
Probably why a lot of people don't: the lyrics. The lyrics talk about the abuse of power and do it sarcastically which I think is very creative and very rock n' roll. "Glorified version of a pellet gun...feels so manly when armed." This is the abuse of power, it feels so good for people that know they have nothing really, to pretend by feeding their power trip.
Sorry to get philosophical, but I love this song.
And nobody make fun of me for saying "very rock n' roll," I know how it sounds.
Also, the guitar in this song is about as raw-sounding as a guitar can get.
That's all.

I like holding my fingers up in the shape of a gun when Eddie sings it.

We really should talk about the raw energy and funk like sounds this song provides.. that and it is great live, Listen to the Atlanta show from 03.
