I did a search and didn't find anything on this topic.

This film really had me thinking about how life on earth will do just about anything to persevere. These penguins risk their own lives just to get a shot at reproduction. The selflessness of these creatures reminds us of our own character flaws that we face in the 21st century: Greed. The self-sacrifice both mother and father penguins endure is so mind-boggling.

I like when they fall down. Few things are funnier than watching a penguin fall.

Yeah that was some pretty funny shit. I also loved the sound that thousands of penguins chattering made.

i thought it would be a crap movie, but the wife wanted to see it so we watched it. Pretty interesting. The way they sacrifice to keep that egg warm. Worth watching in my opinion.

Definitly a cool flick. It amazed me how persistant those penguins are. Heartbreaking to see one of the eggs drop... all that work and then it's all gone in a flash. And amazing to see them pick each other out of the crowd by their their "voices".

Great show.

I loved it. Penguins have been my favorite animals since I was a kiddo, actually obsessively with books, stuffed animals, pajamas, and other silly nonsense, and I've loved those nature documentaries featuring penguins and seals and such on the Discovery Channel. I was kind of the type who would read something about their survival skills and the temperatures they endure and how they make their livings in all parts of the world (the most exciting always being Antarctica to me), and I would run off and tell someone about it and they'd poke fun at my obvious geekiness, laughing it off. When this came out, it brought out the geek in everybody! It was fabulous!

This is what's fantastic, seeing all these cool people interested who might have been somewhat less interested in me spouting off a fact about Emperor penguins had it not been for this flick. The way they captured their story and the wonderful, good-humored narration by Morgan Freeman made it really entrancing even though it was actually a nature documentary. It's like one of those rare family films that we can really enjoy without our families. It was a thorough and well-planned documentary but had all the good elements of narrative film to make it really impacting - so instead of just learning something about penguins you actually felt something for them. I teared up around the time when they showed a mother picking at a baby who had died in the cold and then she went after another baby.

It's a beautiful movie, and terrific fun too. No matter how strong and brave they are, penguins remain the funniest of creatures. They were built to make us laugh with those tiny little legs and big, buxsome bodies. I'm with everyone here, I loved this movie!

That's not all I care about, man. I look for that only in horror. Although I guess I can see why someone on here would think that.

Bob Saget is doing a parody of March of Penguins called Farce of the Penguins. Check out the cast. Saget. Coulier. Stamos. Together again.
