I'm compiling and extensive research Pearl Jam mix for a buddy of mine who I would call a 'casual fan' and I'm trying to pick the most insane live version of Crazy Mary... I have the entire 03 tour on bootleg and some miscellaneous older stuff.. anybody have any favorite cuts from that tour or another one I can get an MP3 of?

It's an audience boot so I'm not sure if you want to put it on there, but I love the version from No Fuckin' Messiah (from the 11/17/93 NOLA show). Victoria Williams sings with them, and it's kinda more drum than guitar driven at times...I really dig it.

Too bad Crazy Mary was a poor choice as an opener for MSG 03. I wasn't happy when I heard Stone start the song....

It worked well in Philly. But once is enough

You agree on the opener thing, or that Uniondale's Crazy Mary was excellent. Or both?

After MSG 1, when Crazy Mary was played in the 2nd encore, there was no reason for that song to open the next night....

The version from the GREEN DISEASE compilation kicked major butt!

I'm not sure what show it's from.
