What type of value would you all put on a good Ten Club number? This is something I have been thinking about for a while but only know my own option. Was wondering what others thought.

I'd pay an extra five bucks a year for anything under 100,000.

im not sure how much id throw down, but my number is 330xxx, so id probably pay a pretty penny, especially since the number of shows i get to has grown exponentially with the last 3 tours. 1 on vfc, 4 in '05, at least 8 so far this time around.
*i realize that TECHNICALLY this is not exponential growth. but in the words of armin tamzarian, 'up yours, children'.
I'm not sure but I know someone that offered someone $2,000 for one under 100,000, but the person declined. But I don't think you can even transfer them so what does it matter.

I don't mind the $20 a year for my 200xxx number. I'm guessing ur referring to how much someone would pay for someone else's though? I dunno, but sounds blasphemous to me

what a retard
if they go to a TON of shows and want better seats, then it could be worth it to them. for me, i spend enough on these guys as it is.

Who, the guy that offered or the guy that turned it down?

i'm thinking those days are over. didn't the 10c tour announcement (or something official) for this year say that you only have 30 days to renew an expired membership or you will lose your seniority

I tried that back in '98 after a lapse (I think about 2 years) and was denied. Was told the old data was archived.

First issues of Deep (latest Ten Club newsletter) said that they are no longer giving people old number. Have a 30 day grace period after which you are at the back of the pack.
About transferring it, I imagine it is doable. Not sure how but you could make it happen.
