Sorry, mods, to make a new post after you so kindly made the other a sticky, but I can't seem to get a clear picture of who DEFINATELY wants to do a scrap book page for the PJ men.

Answer me these questions three:

1. What color pages (i.e. black or white or both)???

2. What size pages (i.e. 5X7 or 8X10)???

3. What is the average air speed of an unladen swallow???

Most people seemed to want a "whatever the hell we want" theme for this project, so I won't ask that question.

And we will obviously need an album cover, I'd prefer it be art work by one of you...anyone extraordinarily talented???

1. i like black. but it could be black and white.

2. make it 8X10; i just found out that an inch is 2,54 centimeters, so it would be 20,32X25,40 cm. the bigger, the better!

3. 250 mph with good tail wind (i tried...)

I don't know exactly what "I'm in" entails but, I love making graphics. I have a bunch up on my site in graphix and the past if you want to check 'em out. There's only one really good pj one that I remember, but let me know if you want me to take a crack at making some for this book. I'd love to do something.

Set a deadline for when folks should get it to you.

Okay, so we have 16 folks in on this. Mostly females...go figure

Things I will do:

1. get a PO box and post it here

2. go to my local hallmark store and pick out pages...then I'll post the brand and size etc and hopefully an email address where you can get them.

3. I can also do a b&p sort of thing for the pages. I can buy them, then you all send me a buck or so and an envelope and I'll send you as many pages as you want...but limit yourself to one page per person...extra pages are for any unfortunate fuck ups!

4. Start thinking about the album we're going to put it in...you all should think about it too...I would prefer a fan's artwork on the cover and not a fucking hallmark designed cover...but I am no artist.

5. Completion date??? Hmmm...how about March 05? Gives us three months...and I bet we'll still beat the christmas single (though the Rumor pit says it is going out on time this year!)

4. i had this idea, maybe we could make it look like a Xmas gift. get a fucking hallmark designed album cover (it wouldn't matter) and get it glued inside a gift cardboard box (about the same size and thickness of the scrapbook), the one with the lid that's stuck to one side and opens like a treasure chest; or a hard cover book; or a binding (i couldn't explain it any better, sorry). so you glue the back of the album inside the box and the cover of the album on the lid of the box. from the outside it looks like a Xmas gift in a box, it could be tied with a beautiful ribbon (it could be glued to the "binding" of the box and be tied only horizontally in bow and ends). you undo the bow, pull the lid and you have the album inside. like a book with hard cover, only the sides are protected too. and the artwork genxgirl proposed could come as the first page of the album. just an idea.

5. MARCH 5 is ok by me. but it depends on mailing time. i really don't know, but i guess it may take a mail about two weeks to get here from there, and about the same time to get there from here, especially during the holidays.

I was thinking more in erms of a minimalist approach...tie the pages together with some hemp rope or something, reinforce it somehow so that it stays together, and call it good...

But the box idea is good too....

Any other thoughts?
