i guess we should make this thread about why synergy wouldnt let me register that name.
i am utterly fascinated by the fact that this happened. its like finding a soda machine that lets you buy a drink, and gives you back all your money.
until the little men come and fix it, you feel like you are in a rainbow land.

It's more like buying a pop from a soda machine, and then the cigarette machine next to it beats up the soda machine and takes all its money.

whats the big deal if some bloke screwed up and accidentally made the record available a couple weeks early. synergy acts like it is blasphemy to even ask about it. i think it is fascinating and would love to know who did it or more about how it happened.

anyway, interesting IP issues in this case. would itunes have a cause of action? other distributors with the right to sell in US? lost profits could arguably be higher since it happened before release date, as more people are likely to copy and distribute.
