So...you admit you haven't heard a lot of the albums on Q's list? Then how can you dismiss it as 'pus?' Least you forget, Q is a British publication, so their picks will be primarily steered towards their audience. (Blender is their U.S. equivalent)
That's cool if you don't like the list, but calling the albums that you haven't heard crappy or bad shows you don't know what you're talking about and shouldn't have an opinion regarding those CDs.

I did use the word "suspect", didn't I?
I've heard the singles from the albums listed by the Libertines, Keane, the Scissor Sisters, Razorlight, The Killers, Snow Patrol and Gwen Stefani and they were all awful. That is enough evidence for me to imagine that those albums by those bands are similarly awful.

The Blender one was worse. WAY worse.

The Streets - some of the most overrated rap music being made

Franz Ferdinand-I dont undestrand why its so high on these lists. The radio friendly retro thingy that the Strokes started is getting annoying.

bizarre. whenever someone with taste says they dislike franz ferdinand they are questioned as to if "they've even HEARD the album". ive heard it. crap stuff in my opinion.

I'm just amazed that neither the arcade fire, xiu xiu, or joanna newsom were on this list....those are three of the best albums this year in my humble opinion.

i just recently bought gwen stefani's new album. i enjoy the "what you waiting for" song. it's cute and fun.
but that's the only good song.
the album is annoying. ANNOYING. hey, if 80's dance music was cool, people wouldn't have stopped listening to it. but they did. she hired some great producers (andre 3000, pharrell, dre) but that didn't help her. this album is over the top and too much. i've never listened to a record and felt the artist "tried too hard", but now i have. don't buy it.
but i love these albums:
Loretta Lynn – Van Lear Rose
Joss Stone – Mind Body And Soul
Modest Mouse – Good News For People Who Love Bad News
Eminem – Encore
Mark Lanegan – Bubblegum
Norah Jones – Feels Like Home
Danger Mouse – The Grey Album
Elliott Smith – From A Basement On The Hill
