I am requesting someone to either post a link, or paste a copy of the Love Letter from the Ten Club that was posted originally a year or so ago. This Love Letter was posted on the News section of pearljam.com, and as a post from the Ten Club on The Message Pit. That thread has been deleted (due to house cleaning I assume) from The Pit.

Anyhow, if this helps jar your memory, it was the letter that said something "big, bold, beautiful, and free" is to follow the release of the new album.

I would like to re-read this Love Letter to the fans. A lot of people are confused as what the "big, bold, beautiful, and free" thing was to be...err when it was to be.

On the whole it was canceled rumor.....I call bull shit.

I also have e-mailed Rebecca and asked them about that, and all she said is that we have to stay tuned to find out.

Plus, they still are hinting at something big in the works. So, to spread the rumor that it has been canceled, I think is incorrect.

Where did you hear that they are working on something big, or something big is in the works?

Have you personally e-mailed the 10C and asked if it is still in the works? Or do you just believe everything you read on a public message board?

I think they believe the subsequent letter from 10c that said the free "something" wasn't going to happen.

Kat and/or Sea has made mention a couple times about how "Lots of things have been planned and worked on and are coming" not talking about the album. And in another post she just said "good things are coming" also, not talking about the album. Plus, when I inquired about it directly to the Ten Club, Rebecca specifically said that we have to stay tuned to find out.

If it actually has been officially canceled, I am sure Rebecca would have told me, and somewhere along the lines, they would have made an “I'm sorry, but it isn’t happening” thread about it, to end speculation.

So no, we should not put it out of our minds, and we should not think it isn’t happening. Until the Ten Club officially says so, I assume it is still on.

Who is to say that if maybe the original planned idea of theirs did fall through, that they are not diligently working on plan B? It was never supposed to even be to us until after the release of the new album….so?

I don't have any reason to think that Where's the Old Board would lie about it. But who knows?

I too have read what Kat has said about some good things to come that they are working on. I'm not doubting anything. The Tenclub is the shit and they always have something good for us up their sleeve, so I guess we'll just have to wait and see!

well, i don't just believe everything i read on a public message board... but i also don't go around being pessimistic about everything...
if someone says they heard from the ten club that it wasn't happening, then i'll believe them (especially since it was a regular from the board, if i remember correctly)...
if they ended up just lying to fuck w/ ppl... oh well, not like i ended up being screwed out of it...
