that's pretty cool. this guy knows some stuff about pj. i don't think this is the album that is as good as "1993" i.e: a come comeback. but then again after the CSI promo and the upcoming aol sessions, with all this promo they are doing maybe it will be a "come back" although i was sure they never left. weird that track 12 is called "come back"

And just as a word of caution, don't ever mention this to one of the irrationally overboard Pearl Jam fans, because they will absolutely fight you to the death. In fact, let's forget we ever mentioned this.

That is really cool - the guy knows his stuff too - usually you get some wanker throwing off a Jeremy reference or something but he went deep with it - get it? "Deep" with it?!
No?

simmons is great, he'll throw in pearl jam references in his articles all the time....not to this extent, but here and there.... he does a mail bag segment where he'll post some actual emails and answer the questions of his readers, i've sent one this week about the new album, hopefully he's found some leaked tracks some where and will answer...
my only problem with this column is that he used the same song a few different times....i think he could've incorporated one song for each point, but thats just me
My favorite part was his story about his friend belting the lyrics to Leash from the back seat.
That was hysterical. He really seems to be a fan. Maybe not an irrational fan like most of us are, but I like reading his articles. He always has Pearl Jam references in his articles.
I remember he had another writer that he was interviewing and they were discussing Pearl Jam and Simmons said that Ten was obviously Pearl Jam's best record and the writer wrote back that Vitalogy was obviously their best record. It was pretty neat.
