Let me say this isnt my main screenname, I have another with hundreds of posts which i dont want to ruin with this message. THIS is not a flame- it is my true opinion. Also, I am not a member of the other board, so dont call me one of them.

The mods on this board are the most oppressive have ever seen on an official board- and Im talking more so than comparable bands like Radiohead, Metallica and Audioslave (all of whose boards are more open, free places of thought and discussion). You cant even reference certain things like new songs (WHICH ARE OUT THERE PEOPLE, WAKE UP). I respect people who dont want to taint the experience until release date. I can understand AN OFFICIAL BOARD of all places not linking to the "illegal material" but not being able to talk about it is akin to being in a repressive communist regime. A real fan should at least have the option of talking about the new songs before they come out and not pretend they dont exist if they choose to.

THe recent incident where Kat allowed a "friend" to post Ebay auctions and made it a sticky was thoroughly disgusting. What pathetic favoritism and hypocritical behavior that was. None of us can post auctions, none of us get stickies for our own FOR PROFIT causes like that. The rush to defend Kat's defense of her "friend" was equally pathetic and shows that all of you are just sheep and will defend anything a mod does. As an aside, not to mention she has been caught before trying to pilfer stuff on ebay and a lot of us doubt whether this "friend" isnt really her- I mean, how did they get access to such rare vinyl releases? Suspicious.

Finally, the "fanboy" behavior is laughable. No one can criticize the band, no one can complain about location of shows, etc. I mean come on, wake up people, its a ROCK BAND and a FAN CLUB. We can criticize all we want. PJ has been my favorite for 15 years, but that doesnt mean they are perfect.

I realize this post will get deleted by the almighty. I realize a lot of you are new to the band and I dont post insulting you. But the rest of you are lapdogs to this repressive "fan club manager" and everything she does. THe mere fact that she is employed by the band makes me embarrassed to be a fan.
