Nellie wanted to run the team thru Mason, and he actually traded Ewing and Starks to Golden State but Checketts killed it instantly and fired Nelson.

man I always forget how great a Knicks LJ was, even if he wasnt half of what he was in the beginning.

LJ was a leader, he sacrificed his game for the team, and he fathered hundreds of children too!

My Dad was on a Track team with Charlie Waters. It was either college or high school I can't remember. I just remember him telling me about it.
