Has anyone ever tried dubbing the lyrics into the Brother instrumental from Lost Dogs? I know one of you guys are capable of doing it. Let me know.

Peace.

you can find a pretty good version of brother with the lyrics, thought mike doesnt go off quite as much. i would rather have someone dub the vocals from the go single or Alone into the lost dogs music

both would be great. someone better get on it.

Someone (I don't remember who) made a really awesome splice of the album and letterman grievance. He needs to get back to work with other songs.

It would be easy, and it would be a mess.

A very good recording of the song with vocals exists, and it would be as simple as mapping the one onto the other, as they have common elements. But with all of the added Mike solos, it would just get in the way of the vocals.

You're better off just getting a good copy of the original from 1991.

I've tried doing it, but they're at different speeds due to the tape dub.

they just should have released that version on lost dogs. If eddie can stand to have hitchhiker on there he could have taken this one for the team

http://www.lukin.com has "rough mixes" of heaps of ten songs, including brother with lyrics (for anyone that needs it). the intrumental's better though, mikes better in the intrumental.

Yea, I have this version. I was wondering if anyone had ever tried, or wanted to try taking just the lyrics of this version and dubbing them minto the Lost Dogs instrumental.

brother with lyrics is a kick-ass song! I remember getting it in the mid90s, and it blew my socks off. Would have fit perfect on Ten as well...
