ok lets pretend that Sound Garden Never Broke up !!!!

Jack irons remained in Pearl jam and Matt Cameron remained in Sound Garden!!

and the next record Sound Garden Made Was Audio Slave. would it be a big dissappointment to you guys or would it be a fucking fantastic effort. becuase i notcied lately that many consider audio slave sub par or just average and would you rather just have sound garden any day, but what if the record they released if they didnt break up was audio slave. would just the name of the band make it awesome or would the music have a differnt sense of purpose , or is just the fact that Cornell is in a different band that makes whatever he is in uncomparable to the greatness of sound garden
i love the audio slave record and i was thinking to day that if this was a sound garden album it would be even more great if that makes sense

It's a hard scenario you paint...

But personally I'd be much better off with another album like Cornell's "Euphoria Morning"... Audioslave is OK and yes, sometimes even amazing... But if I can't have Soundgarden I'd stick with Cornell's solo project... It seemed to be going so great.

I never had high expectations for Audioslave, I was hoping they would've surprised me and come out with a record that would blow my ass away. I was never really a big Soundgarden fan, and the only record of theirs I have is A-Sides. So if they hypothetically stayed together and wrote the Audioslave record I most likely would not have heard it. I just wish that Rage and Soundgarden would've stayed together.
