The Black Rider: The Casting of the Magic Bullets
A Musical Fable

Directed by Robert Wilson
Written by William Burroughs
Lyrics and Music by Tom Waits

Witness the story of an ordinary man who believed in magic, in love and in doing business with the devil. From the extraordinary imaginations of director Robert Wilson, renowned songwriter Tom Waits, and groundbreaking writer William Burroughs comes The Black Rider, a musical fable of love, evil and human folly. In this fantastic wonderland nothing is what it seems: the devil sings, animals talk, and bullets have a mind of their own!

This is playing at the Ahmanson and I think I'm going to go with some friends of mine. It's a touring production, so it will most likely be coming to some more major cities.

Do you live near Chicago or NY? It might make a stop.

The Black Rider album causes cancer. I'm sure of it.

Great music.

I'll be near Chicago for three months over the summer. Anywhere I can check for dates?

Check that link I posted. It's been to London, Sydney, and San Francisco already, so Chicago and New York are likely picks for a stop.
