Been lurking for a while and thought I'd say hi and ask a ? since everyone is talking about different artwork and such for this new record.
Does anyone know the story behind the untitled version of Vs that was floating around for a little while. I have one and I always wondered if it held any value.
Side note: my local indie record shop is having a release party on Mon night and they are advertising a bonus disc, which I assume is is 12/31/92 show. Not the first time they've gotten ahold of stuff like that.
The album was originally going to be titled "Five Against 1" In fact, the original shipments of the casette version of the album were pressed, shipped and sold with the "Five Against 1" title on the actual casette.

The album change was done at the very last minute to call the disc "VS." A first wave of the album was sent out in cd form with no title - you see this either in the regular jewel plasic case or the digipak. The digipak is less common but neither are "rare" per se. There are millions in existence.

I had one once upon a time digpak. Its since been destroyed, no big deal, they pop up here and there. I am really taking care of my Yellow Alive with the little JEff story on it. I think thats a rare one.

I am not familar with this "Yellow Alive with Jeff Story". I own the yellow digipak Ten but never heard of a yellow Alive. What is the yellow Alive?
Its a yellow Alive single. IT hace Alive, Wash , and I've got a feeling. The Alive solo is longer and different. On the back there is a little story in Mr Aments handwriting explain who the band is and ends with the line watch pearl jam grow.
