i'm not going to claim to be a fan of someone's work after they've died tragically, but i did occasionally listen to pantera.

what the hell is wrong with the world? people kill each other every day. and for what?? gah...

why can't we all just sit back, relax, get drunk/high, and have a great time? why all the anger?

This kind of thing really makes me hate people.

Damnit. These wastes of sperm ruin life for the rest of us. Think concert security is a bitch now? Wait a month.

I hope they cut this losers nuts off and feed him to sharks.

This makes me not want to go to any concert that is remotely metal.

WTF. I was never a fan, but this was no way to go.

Well, it's already on the news. He's upset at the break-up of Pantera (2 members of this band were members of Pantera) so he shot people. I don't see any religious undertones there.

That is awful news. Dimebag was a great guitarist.

A total shame.

Apparently the reason Pantera broke up had nothing to do with anyone on that stage - it was the lead singer so the guitarist and the drummer (who are brothers) formed another band. Then this ass goes on a shooting spree.

Agreed. That was totally unecessary. Replace 'abortion' with 'gun control' and the gods will once again look favorably upon you.

I wish the shooter in this case was never born. The world would be a better place without him.

Apparently he commented...."you broke up Pantera...you ruined my life...what about Phil he needs heroin money....."

why do people like this exist?

Then argue for the death penalty. As it is completely impossible to determine the amount of human decency in a fetus, saying this is a good case for abortion is absurd, unless you're arguing that all pregnancies should be terminated, thereby removing all possibility of another person such as this being born.

To counter your argument, how many truly great people have been aborted? Perhaps the person that would cure cancer or bring about world peace was "terminated" in the womb. Is that your argument against abortion?

Again, dumbest comment ever. Sorry.

I was pissed off, I said something stupid. I meant it in an individual manner. Sorry I offended you. I deleted it.

It's to bad this guy is dead. He deserved to suffer.

Pardon this, but holy shit. Can't we keep this remotely on topic about a tragic killing without starting an abortion derailment.

Electromatic, I think it would be best just to edit the comment. I understand your resentment and that you are upset, but that was a dumb thing to say.

Mourn the loss of the victims and keep the abortion pissing match out of the thread.

This is a great tragedy. But before we all start attacking each other over it, I'm going to direct you all to the two threads on this subject in the Other Bands forum, and drop a lock on this thread.

Thank you.
